We used to stay at any hotel or serviced apartment within the Makati CBD area whenever we're in the Philippines. It is the city where I was born, where I grew up, and the place I love the most! We've tried most of the hotels there, till we decided to check Oakwood and loved it! We started staying there then. It's more than just a hotel, feels like your home away from home. It has everything in the room, from kitchen stuff and utensils to washing machine. They have very friendly and accommodating personnel that treats you very well. Just within the first few days of staying there, their restaurant staff knows where our favorite table is and escorts us there right away. They even know some of the residents' kid's name and play with them, like they did with Kaiden.
Ascott is such a convenient hotel simply because it's already in Glorietta! You don't have to travel far because everything is just walking distance from the hotel. There are restaurants around the area and hotels if you wanna dine in formally. SM is just beside it for your daily groceries and shopping is just metres away from you! It's a fair walk from Greenbelt but it's worth the stroll because you'll be passing by shops after shops.
We stayed for almost 3 weeks in Ascott, formerly known as Oakwood. It's still the same, only the name was changed.
Since Hubby was away, it was my 2 sisters, Tyn and Sheila who stayed with me and Kaiden during our stay in the hotel. We just ask our brother Jay to come over during the day to be with us.
And the only time that I was able to have a swim during our vacation was in the hotel. I think it was too much swimming that Kaiden got sick twice. He just loves to swim!
So here are some pics of our dips in the pool . . . > > > The view of Ascott's poolside from our room
> > > With my hunky baby! LOL!!!

> > > Having fun in the jacuzzi
> > > This is my brother Jay
> > > I just love this shot!
And the random photos we took during our wonderful stay in Ascott . . .

I am certain to stay there again and again, and again! It can really be your home away from home.
Gorgeously . . .
