Toowoomba

Toowoomba is a mountain city on the west of Brisbane. We go there everytime we feel like just having a drive. It is somewhat like Brisbane's Baguio, comparing to Manila. Once you're up there, you'll have a homely feeling to the place. It's probably because they have beautiful scenery and lovely plants everywhere. They have lush green lawns that are always well kept. I guess that's the reason why Toowoomba is called the Garden City.

We particularly love a seafood resto there called Weis Restaurant. It is most of the time booked out so you really have to make a reservation early on. They are famous for their seafood smorgasbord which are to die for! They have received various awards proving just how good they are! There's always a big bowl and steamy warm cloth in your table as you gorge down their succulent seafood. I mainly love their prawns, they are so tasty! It is a restaurant worth coming back for! And whenever we have visitor/s staying with us, we always bring them there.

So we also brought Sheila; and after our delightful meal, we drove up to the look-out were we took some snaps.

Toowoomba is one of Queensland's "must go to" places.

Gorgeously . . .
