. . . The 3rd And Big Bash!

This celebration almost did not pushed through last Sunday, the 24th. The heavy storm made us shelved the party because we planned to have it here at home. We called and cancelled the people we hired, only to have the affair back on again. You see, B and I were contemplating to go on with it or not. The lawn was so drenched that the kids might just be stepping on a muddy grass. We have been checking the weather all the time. I actually have been praying for a sunny and warm day for weeks now. When that sudden rain hit us, I texted my family back home to help me pray!

And so the 24th came. We hired a tent, some chairs, a jumping castle and an entertainer to liven up the party. I was so thankful that the storm missed our place and actually went around. It absolutely was a perfect sunny day, one blessed Sunday!





We have invited all of Kaiden's classmates. We're very surprised with the turn out because almost all of them came! B and I thought that maybe only half of the class will come. Well, the more the merrier!

The jumping castle was a hit! The children went on it like there's no tomorrow!

So did the entertainer we got. He was so funny and hearing the kids' laughter surely warmed the hearts of all the parents!







We also had games. Though some opted to just stay playing inside the jumping castle.


The opening of the gifts was chaotic because each kid wanted their gift to be opened first. It was so sweet how most of them made cards for the Birthday Boy! It was mostly the girls but the boys were the ones who wrote on the birthday cards they have given.


The blowing of the birthday candles was huddled as well!



This party was undoubtedly a great 5th birthday celebration for Kaiden! He was having so much fun, not wanting to stop even for a few seconds for photos. He was always on the go playing with his friends. In Kaiden's 5 years of existence, this was the first time he celebrated his birthday at the place where he was born. So we might as well make it the best!

It was a very tiring day for all of us, with the clean up and all; but seeing the pure happiness in Kaiden's face made it all worthwhile!
